Why isn't the exact price listed here?
Because the scope varies in ways that matter. A single-night evaluation at a 40-room boutique property and a multi-night evaluation at a 200-room resort with multiple F&B outlets are fundamentally different engagements — and pricing them identically would shortchange one and overcharge the other. The 30-minute intake conversation is where scope is confirmed and pricing is presented clearly, before any commitment is made.
What does the intake conversation actually cost?
Nothing. The intake conversation is complimentary and carries no obligation. It exists to confirm that the property and the evaluation scope are a good fit — for both parties. If they are, pricing is presented. If they're not, you'll leave the call with a clearer picture of what this type of evaluation involves, at zero cost.
Is the room cost included in the evaluation fee?
Yes. The accommodation cost is factored into the engagement fee. You receive one invoice for the full engagement — there is no separate room charge, no incidental billing, and no surprise costs after the stay. What is agreed at intake is what is invoiced.
Can I start with a Pilot and upgrade to a Full Evaluation later?
Yes — and this is a common path. Many properties start with a Pilot to understand the format and the depth of findings before committing to a full multi-night engagement. The Pilot report stands fully on its own and the 90-day roadmap is fully actionable. A subsequent Full Evaluation at the 90-day mark then provides the before-and-after comparison.
How is payment structured?
Payment terms are confirmed at intake. The standard structure is 50% at engagement confirmation and 50% upon report delivery. For Group and multi-property engagements, phased payment schedules are available and discussed during the scoping conversation.
Is there a discount for returning clients or multiple properties?
Multi-property and repeat engagements are scoped with volume in mind. The Group tier exists precisely for ownership groups and properties with ongoing evaluation programs. Specific terms are discussed at intake rather than published — because the right structure depends on the number of properties, the evaluation cadence, and the scope of each engagement.
What if the evaluation doesn't surface anything useful?
In 25+ years of travel across 23 countries and a background spanning aviation, hotel operations, and international tourism — every property has surfaced actionable findings. The friction that drives churn is almost never visible from inside operations. That said, if leadership genuinely feels the report did not deliver value, that conversation happens — and it's taken seriously. Reputation is the business.
